Possums, Joeys & Dingoes Programs
Our Possums, Joeys and Dingoes programs are ongoing term programs that continue throughout the school year. Many of the same children have been participating in these programs since their inception and have continued with the same facilitator and children for multiple terms, learning, building relationships and skills together.
If you are a new family and would like to join our Possums, Joeys or Dingoes Programs, please complete the application form via the link below. Our application process ensures that the programs will be a good fit for both your child and Village Learning mutually. Once we have received your application form, we will contact you for a short phone interview and arrange a time to book a trial session. If your trial session goes well and everyone is happy to proceed, we will then send you the link to enroll and pay your term fee.
Only new families need to complete an application form. All existing families may re-register using the relevant term registration form sent out in week 8 each term.
Topical Academic Study Group for 12 - 15 year olds
Wednesday Mornings
If you would like to enrol in any of our Topical academic study group learning blocks, you may register via the link below. Once you have registered, we will notify you when minimum numbers are reached (at least 1 week prior to the beginning of each term) and you will be able to enrol and pay your fee.
Term 1 - 2024
Maths block (first 5 weeks)
Beginning with geometry, including some compass work and then moving onto platonic solids over the course of the block, in preparation for our second block as we move into Geography.
Geography block (second 4 weeks)
From platonic solids to mapping and world geography (and some historical politics).
Where: Village Learning, Vasse WA
Time: 9:00 - 11:00am
Fees:
Maths block (5 weeks) - $125 per child
Geography block (4 weeks) - $100 per child
Maths & Geography (9 weeks) - $225 per child
*plus your Village Leaning Membership (see below)
Painting, Stories, Music & Movement for 8 - 11 year olds
Wednesday Mornings
If you would like to enrol in our Steiner Painting, Stories, Music & Movement Program, you may register via the link below. Once you have registered, we will notify you when minimum numbers are reached (at least 1 week prior to the beginning of each term) and you will be able to enrol and pay your fee.

Where: Village Learning, Vasse WA
Time: 9:00 - 11:00am
Fees: $225 per child

Extracurricular Classes & Workshops
Wednesday afternoons
If you would like to enrol in any of our Extracurricular Classes or Workshops, you may register via the link below. Each Class or workshop will be different and will run for a varying number of sessions. Once you have registered, we will notify you when minimum numbers are reached (asap or at least 1 week prior to the beginning of each term) and you will be able to enrol and pay your fee.
Term 1 - 2024
Homeschool Surfing Lessons
Join us for homeschool surfing lessons with Yallingup Surf School. Boards and wetsuits supplied! Classes are aimed at 8 years + however a few younger ones 6 years per class and up are ok.
Where: Near Yallingup / Dunsborough, where ever the surf is best on the day.
Time: 12:00 - 1:30pm
Fees:
Block 1 (first 5 weeks) - $175 per child
Block 2 (second 4 weeks) - $140 per child
Both blocks (full 9 weeks) - $315 per child

Maths & Literacy Focus Programs
Our Maths & Literacy Focus Programs are an optional addition for children attending either Joeys or Dingoes. If you would like to register, please tick the option to join on your Joeys or Dingoes Registration From.
Village Learning Tuition Fees
All our fees for each program can be found on our programs page.
Please note that minimum numbers apply for all programs. If our programs don’t meet minimum numbers, we may put forward the option to run the program at an increased fee to cover facilitator payments and other running costs.
Sibling discounts & multi-day attendance
Possums Playgroup - no discount - you tuition fee is covered under your $20 / month family membership fee
Joeys Younger Years Program - 15% discount for 2nd child, 25% discount for 3rd and additional children. 10% discount on second day.
Dingoes 8 - 15 year old Program - 15% discount for 2nd child, 25% discount for 3rd and additional children. 10% discount on second day.
Academic Study Group - no discount
Extra-curricular Classes - no discount
Maths & Literacy Focus Classes - no discount
Low Income Scholarships
We want our programs and classes to be as accessible as possible. If you are on a low income and our current fees are the only barrier to you joining, please email us to apply for a low income scholarship (applicable to all programs). Scholarships range from between 10 - 30% discount depending on availability.
Village Learning Family Membership
All families who enrol in any of our Village Learning Programs or Classes will need join our share site and pay a membership fee.
Families who have enrolled in our full term programs will join on our ongoing Village Learning Family Membership which is $20 per month / Family.
Families who have enrolled in our 5 week Academic Study Blocks or Extra-Curricular Class blocks will join on a one off membership fee of $25 / Family.
Families who have enrolled in a one off class or workshop will join on a one off membership fee of $5 / Family.
Your membership contributes to our basic upkeep and covers things like admin costs & venue hire, keeping our Village Learning community functional & sustainable. It is required by all actively participating members of the Village Learning community.
Once you have confirmed your enrolment and paid your tuition fees, you will be sent a link to join our share-site where you can pay your applicable membership fee.
